शमा — forged in Ludhiana, refined over six decades. Every component an emblem of quality, every part delivering reliability. From the smallest bearing to the heaviest carrier, we make the whole bicycle.
Founded by Sh. Parkash Chand in 1959, Parkash & Brothers began with a simple conviction — that the smallest part on a bicycle deserves the same attention as the largest. From the lanes of Millerganj in Ludhiana, the cycle capital of India, we built a name mechanics asked for by reputation and shopkeepers stocked by faith.
The Shama nameplate became, and remains, an emblem of high-quality materials, careful construction and steady design. Across brakes, hubs, chains, pedals, mudguards, seats and every component in between, that mark has meant one thing for over six decades — reliability you can ride on.
Today, the family carries that promise forward across three signature ranges — Shama, Shama HD and Shama Gold — each calibrated for a different rider, every one built to the same standard the founder set in 1959.
From the daily-commuter classic to the heavy-duty workhorse to the showroom-finish flagship — every range carries the same nameplate, calibrated to a different rider.
The original. Honest, dependable parts for India's everyday cyclist — commuters, students, delivery riders, village roads.
Built tougher. Engineered for harder use, rougher terrain and longer life — for riders who put their cycle through more than a city street.
The showroom finish. Premium components for riders and builders who want their bicycle to look as good as it rides — gleaming, refined, unmistakable.
Twenty-five categories. Hundreds of SKUs. From the smallest steel ball to the full back-carrier — if it goes on a bicycle, Shama makes it.
The Shama name on a component has meant the same thing to mechanics and dealers since 1959. Reputation, slowly earned.
Forged in India's cycle capital. Steel, finish and fittings sourced and assembled in Punjab — every part with a passport that begins at home.
Shama, Shama HD and Shama Gold — three tiers, each engineered for a different rider, every one held to the same family standard.
From a 1/8" steel ball to a heavy-duty back carrier — 25 categories, 500+ SKUs. One supplier, one nameplate, the whole bicycle covered.
